I really couldn't put the book down as I felt like Langdon was in more danger than in any of the other stories!Tinehttp://theredgeranium.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7682312585713348709.post-60819154365522337342009-11-20T01:08:06.068-08:002009-11-20T01:08:06.068-08:00I was totally obsessed with the Da Vinci code and ...I was totally obsessed with the Da Vinci code and have read the other books but for some reason I haven't picked this up yet- possibly because I know I will read it in one sitting and need to reserve 5 hours!!Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08459305021803770946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7682312585713348709.post-65535385408444294932009-11-19T18:19:07.417-08:002009-11-19T18:19:07.417-08:00Tish- that is too funny! Not to mention one absolutely needs something to leaf through in that room where the king goes alone. ;-)Perfumeshrinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06222733129203280662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7682312585713348709.post-15376736283049955402009-11-19T14:44:00.412-08:002009-11-19T14:44:00.412-08:00So funny, it just happened again. The other day you were talking about "La Mome" as one of your favorite films and it was on TV at that very moment.

Tonight Dan Brown was interviewed by French TV by the station's correspondent in the States.

See, you just keep getting drawn back in these telepathic ways.

BTW, thank you. I'm honored.

Tishxtishjett@yahoo.comhttp://afemmeduncertainage.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7682312585713348709.post-68421347592296334132009-11-19T13:34:23.181-08:002009-11-19T13:34:23.181-08:00Michael- If you liked The Da Vinci Code you'll...Michael- If you liked The Da Vinci Code you'll probably like this. It is written in the same 'formula' and is really informative. Yes it is definitely a commercial pick but it makes for a good guilty pleasure :)

Rebecca- You and I have similar interests! Then you will definitely like this one... I'm so glad you like your prize- enjoy!

BigLittleWolf- It is not for everyone. Dan Brown is definitely not Proust :) But if you like a good commercial page turner every now and then, this is a great read! xo

Tina- You're right about Dan Brown stealing from himself. This book is written in the same 'formula' as the other two Langdon books. I suppose I am a creature of habit and when I like a series I like it as it is (So many of Agatha Christie's plots were similar). This is definitely not a profound work but it was fun to read :) xoThe Daily Connoisseurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13843902889491327636noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7682312585713348709.post-36244697761158629762009-11-19T13:02:07.595-08:002009-11-19T13:02:07.595-08:00angels and demons was a great book, da vinci code ...angels and demons was a great book, da vinci code looked like its little brother and every other book was just bad. i mean, i like "easy" books to read but dan brown is just stealing from himslef and i hate it. his books have the same concept and i just can't read him anymore. shame.tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10390900322199353959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7682312585713348709.post-35266806577037880042009-11-19T12:51:16.655-08:002009-11-19T12:51:16.655-08:00I just couldn't get into his stuff. Maybe it's just the rebel in me. Or my older son's review of his book, provided to me a few years back, with a discerning eye, ear, and style of his own.BigLittleWolfhttp://dailyplateofcrazy.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7682312585713348709.post-46333178438318800442009-11-19T11:10:42.766-08:002009-11-19T11:10:42.766-08:00I will definitely be getting this one. I love anything and everything (judging from my bookcases and dvd case) that has to do with manifesting, law of attraction and the power of the mind.

BTW, I received my prize! That was very quick. The creams are wonderful. The scent is divine, to say the least!
