Product Review: Chi Silk Infusion

It is rare when I use a beauty product that yields fabulous results instantly- so ever since I tried out Chi Silk Infusion this morning, I've been dying to tell you about it.

Chi Silk Infusion
is a hair serum that can be used as a leave-in treatment after showering or as a styling aide for dry hair. It is meant to add a silky texture and sheen to your hair while protecting it from heat.

Now, my hair has always been dry- so the fact that this is a heat protectant really appealed to me. My major hair goal in life is to give moisture, I never imagined that my hair could have a silky finish. That was always for other women- namely supermodels. But today after shampooing and conditioning my hair I combed in a small, dime sized amount of Chi Silk Infusion and blow dried it as usual. I could instantly feel the difference. Silky, smooth, soft and (dare I say!) shiny, I'm calling this a miracle in a bottle!

I purchased mine at Rite-Aid for the sale price of $10.99. I've seen online that the product can run anywhere from $20 to $10, depending on the size.

Chi Silk Infusion can be purchased at drug stores nationwide or online at: www.drugstore.com or www.target.com

  3. Thank you so much for those lovely words on my Blog! I can't believe I have finally started. I hope it doesn't prove too distracting from the writing but it has been fun so far. I need a bit of distraction at the moment! Vicki came by too from French Essence (she saw me in my Blog underwear) before I discovered templates! I'm so not technical! xx

  4. Any clue as to what is the ingredients that make this heat-protective and shine-providing? (I'm a little anal in checking labels I'm afraid and I don't have access to the product here to check)

    Hope you're well! :-)

  13. Is it good to use CHI silk infusion daily on the hair?

  14. Hi Anon- Thanks for your question. I personally do not use CHI Silk infusion every day. I only use it right before I blow dry my hair (only 2 or 3 times a week) or when I am about to do some serious styling with a flat iron or curling iron. I probably wouldn't recommend using it everyday as it might lose its effectiveness but you could always try it and let me know :)

  15. Thanks for you review. I just bought the CHI ceramic styling iron - after not ever owning any type of flat iron - and LOVE IT! It was hot and ready to use in about 2 minutes - and it left my hair oh so silky smooth with such ease!! And the only product I used was a styling foam before I roller set. It was $99 (on sale!) but after seeing the results I know it is a good investment.

So today I went back to the store and bought the CHI Silk Infusion -- can't wait to try it. Have you ever used the CHI 44 Iron Guard? I was thinking of going back to get this - but looks like the Silk infusion will also act as a heat protectant from what I've read so far on the internet.

    Thanks for your feedback!
