Thank you to everyone that has sent me a comment or email asking me how the pregnancy is going. I’m currently 7 ½ months pregnant and am feeling great! I’ve had a really great pregnancy- no morning sickness, nausea, insane cravings or extreme weight gain (all things that I was expecting to happen!). I feel very blessed because I’ve had such a great time so far.
I plan on doing a lot of reading, resting and preparing (and of course blogging) in this final month and a half to go. I just want to say thank you again to all of my wonderful readers- your comments, support and advice really make my day...
Bisous,
Jennifer xx
You look fabulous! You're lucky to be pregnant when there are so many pretty maternity clothes at all different price points. I'd be embarrassed to tell you the two articles of clothing I lived in, day in and day out, while I was pregnant in the dead heat of the summer -- but that was 14 years ago and there just weren't quite as many choices.
ReplyDeleteCute bellybutton!
xoxo
Your blog is lovely and you look amazing at this point in your pregnancy - congrats!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a cute pregnant lady =) I'm glad it's going well for you!

Jennifer, you look beautiful as always. You do remind me a bit of the woman in Blooming Beautiful. My advice is get as much rest as you can now as there goes the rest of your life with sleep! Pregnant women always look amazing to me and you are triple amazing. xx
ReplyDeleteYou look radiant.....bask in the glory!
ReplyDeleteMotherhood has many great surprises....and you are ready!
Thank you- you are all so sweet and amazing! My belly button has been the thing that has surprised/ amused me most. It sticks out so much! I had no idea that that would happen :) Also the outfit I'm wearing isn't actually maternity-wear. It's just a flowy jersey dress I already had in my wardrobe- I find those the most comfortable right now. I can't wear anything constricting. Thank you again for your comments and advice- love to you all xxxx
ReplyDeletePace yourself and eat right, Roland

ReplyDeleteyou look great! i'm so happy for you!! :) the book you mentioned in your last post sounds really interesting - i'm going to check it out! literally. from the library...if they have it :)
ReplyDeleteYou look so great! And in you're in the final stretch. So glad you're doing so well! (And RHNY Reunion Part Deux tonight! If I remember correctly, you're a fan, too...)
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear everything is going well for you and you look fabulous!! How did you avoid gaining much weight as the pregnancy progressed? That's one of my biggest fears: That I'll end up putting on tens of pounds while pregnant (probably overeating) and have a hard time losing it. You look great!
ReplyDeleteThank you again to everyone!
ReplyDeleteCrystal- I've gained 25 pounds so far- which is right on target. My doctor has recommended I gain around 30 pounds for my height and weight. I wanted to be healthy and gain a healthy amount of weight and I also did not want to go overboard and gain too much. I basically have not changed the way I eat... I don't really adhere to the 'eating for two' philosophy. If I am really hungry I eat as much as I want and if I'm not I don't force it. I eat three meals a day with lots of healthy snacks in between and I definitely have dessert every day (I have had a sweet tooth). But I find that this way I have gained the right amount. I've also been eating a lot healthier than normal- making sure I get lots of vegetables and fruit, whole grains, etc. Hope that helps! I think if you are in shape and healthy going into your pregnancy you will be fine! I should also mention that I do not do excessive exercise- I basically go on walks and that is it (I thought I'd do prenatal yoga but I haven't felt up to it... walking seems to be enough for now). Hope that answers your question. xo
Yay! This is the post I was waiting for. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so thrilled everything is going so smoothly for you. It's an amazing process...but extra enjoyable when it's calm seas, so to speak. I join in the chorus of "you look fabulous" --because you do--and do a quiet share on belly buttons. (As in...psst...my innie became a major outie. Went back in, eventually.)
May the home stretch be as fabulous as the build!
you look wonderful! am just back from LA, I should have tried to call in on you!
ReplyDeleteAs a midwife, I have to commend you on your healthy attitude and your spot-on eating and exercise routine. You look radiant and I wish you a beautiful birth!!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Trish
