Great idea to have us comment on something we actually love about our skin! It's nice to say something positive! I would say that my paleness is what I love about my skin! I have red hair, blue eyes and pale skin, it's different and a little unique. I can't tell you how difficult it was to actually print something nice about myself...geez, I've got to work on that! ReplyDeleteI love my skin because I inherited it from my beautiful mother (she's still stunning in her 60's!) I only wish to have her clear, dewy glow at her age. As a makeup artist I know first hand how important it is to take care of your skin; yes makeup can help to hide some imperfections, but you cannot forget about proper skin care to help look your best! Love this post so much because you are asking women (and men!) to focus on what they love (and not what they would change!) as well as featuring a great eco conscious brand like Benedetta! ReplyDeleteThe thing I love the most about my skin is how pale it is. Although I have to work a little to cancel out /any/ redness so that I don't look flushed, I wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you for asking us to focus on what we love rather than what we dislike, Jennifer!

I love the color of my skin. I don't tan and I use sunscreen, but it's stays a healthy "light tan" naturally. ReplyDeleteI love that the oily skin I had when younger means today I don't have any wrinkles (and I'm of an age when I should). Also very happy that I inherited my father's skin and not my mother's. Her dry skin had shriveled by 50, whereas my father didn't have a wrinkle or an age spot at 90. I hit the genetic lottery and am very conscientious about the products I use.

ReplyDeleteMy skin is very pale, but recently I've come to like and even appreciate that. I stopped sunbathing and wearing bronzer and started using sunscreen every day. I certainly hope the sun protection will pay off in a few decades, but in the meantime, I'm happy to like my skin the way it is.
