Method Wood Floor Cleaner in Almond | Natural Home with Jennifer

Welcome to another episode of Natural Home with Jennifer. In today's video, I'm reviewing one of my favorite natural products ever: The Method wood floor cleaner in almond scent.

If you love the scent of almonds, you will absolutely love this wood floor cleaner.

Method writes,"We used to reserve our floor cleaning for very special occasions—like limbo night or the queen’s visit. But this non-toxic + biodegradable no-wax wood floor cleaner turns a chore into an almond-scented delight. Just squirt, mop and bask in the glow of a gleaming clean. Formulated for sealed hardwood and laminate floors."

To use: Squirt on floor and mop, using a damp or dry mop/cloth. Use a thin layer, enough to wet and clean the floor. Do not dilute. No need to rinse, either.

All of method’s ingredients are comprehensively assessed by a leading research firm to ensure their safety for people and the environment.

I truly love and highly recommend this wood floor cleaner. It's really an excellent product.

This is the microfiber mop I use.

You can find the Method wood floor cleaner on Amazon, but I get mine from Grove Collaborative, where I get all of my natural cleaning products. I highly recommend Grove because it is a wonderful company that has great perks for its VIP members, including free shipping and returns as well as frequent free gifts.

New customers to Grove Collaborative can get a free Mrs. Meyers gift Set, which includes a Mrs. Meyer's dish soap, Mrs. Meyer's hand soap, and Mrs. Meyer''s Multi-Surface Spray + Free shipping with VIP Trial when you sign up with Grove and spend $20. 1. I am so tempted to try the washing machine cleaner that Grove is offering. Have you tried that?

  2. Wonderful review and I bought this product and love it equally as well as you, Jennifer. One question for clarification: You mentioned using a wet swiffer-style mop in an earlier video and I was wondering if you do any prep-work before with this squirt and mop cleaning method or simply use this almond wood floor cleaner as a one-step method? Perhaps when you mentioned the wet mop in another video, you may have been talking about cleaning tile or bathroom floors and I didn't pick that up.

  3. Thank you for the review! It sounds good and I may give it a try. Just so you’re aware, I did look on their website, and it says the fragrance is partly natural and partly synthetic.

  4. I've been using the Method furniture polish (that has that almond scent that you like so much) for quite a while now. I love the way it doesn't leave a greasy film behind, yet cleans any smudges or dried spills easily. I also use it on my leather sofa, marble shelf in the bathroom, and I use it to shine my shoes and purses (Shoe polish truly smells vile. That can't be good for you. ) It works well on all these surfaces.

  5. Does Grove has floor cleaner for tile floors? I cannot find a product I’m happy with for tile floors.

  6. Hi Antonia- I have not tried the washing machine cleaner, but I can add it to my list...

Hi Vicki- no, we do not prep the floors before using the Method. There is no need. I've ordered the Method tile floor cleaner, so that review will come on the channel eventually.

Thank you, Monica for letting us know!

Hi Mimi, I just got the wood for good and I love it. It's great for polishing wood and has that same wonderful scent.

Hi Deborah, they have a lot of tile floor cleaners. I just ordered the squirt and mop from method for our tile bathroom floors and am excited to try it. I'll let you know.

    Thank you for watching, ladies!

  7. Hi Jennifer,

I ordered the mop you recommended, and I added the floor cleaner to my shopping cart at Grove to be included in the next order. I will add the polish as well. My home will be so clean!

    Thank you,
    Alexandra

  8. I picked up some of this cleaner yesterday and gave my kitchen floor a good clean. These 25 year old floors have never looked so good. Plus my entire first floor smells like almonds! Thank you for the recommendation, I'm trying the tile floor cleaner next.

  12. Thank you so much for the wood cleaner review. I also used Bona and my spray mop kept breaking, too. I still have Bona cleaner and my current mop still works - but based on your recommendation I picked up some of the wood cleaner at Target. I LOVE IT....just finished my floors and they look and smell wonderful. I am wondering if you can put this cleaner in an empty Bona spray container. What do you think ? FYI...my husband vacuums the floors before I use the cleaner and that worked well for us. Thank you again !!! www.ournewvista.com
