I have another week of outfits for you today to inspire you in your ten-item wardrobe. This time, I shoot rapid OOTD (outfits of the days) and don't chat too much about my schedule. I know many of you don't have time to watch longer videos. Please tell me which format you prefer.
This week, Ben and I celebrated our 13th anniversary. He enjoyed crashing my OOTD filming. I sometimes wonder what he thinks of my strange job. I think he gets it!
As I am writing this, the weather has turned here as it has in much of the country. It was very chilly and rainy today. I plan to bring out some fall sweaters and coats to wear with my spring clothes. We will see how that works. But I am getting ahead fo myself... let's have a look at the outfits in this week's video. I have linked items below.
LL Bean Knit Summer dress, short sleeve sweater (similar), Kork-ease sandals, Earrings by Ana Luisa (Use code Jennifer10 for $10 off), phone case by Casetify
A.P.C. dress (linking similar here and here), new leopard sandals inspired by my friend, Hilary at Old World Home.
Draped cardigan (linking similar here), striped shirt (linking similar), denim skirt (linking similar), leopard sandals, A'del Natural Cosmetics which I'll be reviewing soon on the channel.
Rebecca Taylor dress (dress no longer available, linking Rebecca Taylor), navy leggings, navy ballet flats (linking similar)
LL Bean floral dress , Lands' End sweater, nude croc patent ballet flats (linking similar)
I hope you enjoy today's video.

Comment of the Week
On last week's What I look like at the end of the day video, Skogfisk writes, "Thank you so much for this video! I think this is one of the most inspiring videos you have made. You always say that it's about looking presentable, not perfect - it is wonderful to see how you practice this in your everyday life. This makes me feel like I can do it too :)"
Thank you, Skogfisk! I'm so happy that this video has encouraged so many. Even though the days are long and hard I don't regret investing my time with my family. It truly brings deep satisfaction!
Thank you for watching this week's outfits of the week. I have some fun videos planned for this week. Thank you, as always, for joining me.
See you soon!

I always enjoy your videos. In that you asked about preferences, I like the videos in which you talk more because I find you interesting and fun to listen to. Always like to see Ben, too. Seems like you two have a lot of fun together.
ReplyDeleteI love those leopard sandals (yes, they are a neutral!). Sadly, they are not in stock in my size.
ReplyDeleteLove the chatty videos best.It always feels like catching up with friends on the other side of the world.I used to think this a bit odd messaging people never met,but I think of it now like old fashioned 'pen' friends It reminds me how people around the world are different but so much the same. Have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteI love your videos, so I don't want them to end! I prefer the longer videos. I especially liked the How You Look at the End of the Day video.
ReplyDeleteHi, Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteI always love your videos, but since you asked I prefer the longer ones. There is a question I have. When I go to your blog I can only read the previous four posts and then there's an add I can't scroll past. This is new, before I could scroll as far back as I wished. Is there a trick, how I'll be able again to read all the older posts as well, since I simetimes remember something you said and want to reread it. Also, as far as I know there is no search possibility on your blog. Is that correct? Or am I just not finding it?
Thank you so much for all you do!!!
Inga
Hi! I like the longer videos. All your outfits look great! I enjoy seeing your posts pop up on Facebook. God bless you and yours!
ReplyDeleteHello Jennifer, I love your OOTD's this week for their polish, practicality and prettiness. Also, Happy Anniversary to you and Mr. Connoisseur!
ReplyDeleteI have a question on your Ana Luisa earrings on the day you were wearing the draped cardigan, striped Breton tee and denim skirt: I've bought Ana Luisa earrings based on your previous recommendations and I love this smaller hoop earring you're wearing in this photo/video portion. I emailed Ana Luisa, because I wanted to order a pair and I sent them a screenshot and they said they didn't look like their earrings, so perhaps my photo wasn't clear enough. Will you please add a link name to them so I can order them? I have a couple of larger hoop earrings by Ana Luisa (Tia) I'd love to buy some smaller ones like yours.
Thanks!
P. S. Could they be the "14K Gold Earrings - Small Twisted Hoops" I found on their website? I'd love to use your promo code.
ReplyDeletePardon all my posts. I was just told they may be the Venus. Will go take a look. Grateful.
ReplyDeleteI only just started watching your videos so I enjoy the longer ones! I love your style! As a stay at home mom myself I am starting to appreciate that I too can look pulled together while still being able to get down on the ground and play with my daughter. Agree that leopard print is a neutral :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer, you look lovely in all your outfits. I prefer your longer videos. Happy anniversary to you and Mr Connoisseur!
ReplyDeleteI ladies, thank you so much for your comments and letting me know what style of video you prefer. I will be doing a mix of long and short because there is the need for both... I know I don't always have time to watch a longer video... but when that happens I usually pause and come back to it. I appreciate you chiming in! Vicki, it was the Venus earrings.
ReplyDeleteInga... I have that problem too! I don't know what's wrong with the blog. You can always go to the archive at the right to find the post you were looking for. I hope the situation resolves itself. I don't have technical support for blogger so I am not sure.
Thank you and have a lovely evening!
Jennifer xx
I have been looking for a new knee length denim skirt and have been waiting to buy (I like to wait to see if I really want it lol). Finally came back to this post and felt that it'd be a great piece in my wardrobe that I can carry across seasons. So excited!
ReplyDeleteDear Jennifer,
ReplyDeletethank you for your response to my questions! I couldn't find the archive, because I usually read your blog on my phone and the sidebar doesn't show up there because of the lack of space. But I tried to read it on my computer and there I have the sidebar and thus the archive! Thank you so much for your help!
Happy weekend to you and your family, Inga
New hair looks great! :-) I appreciate shorter, tightly edited videos but for one like this we really need some context for your outfits, I think. Not trying to sound snoopy, but they have more relevance if we know what the day entails for an 'outfit of the day'. Otherwise they are just 'outfits'. Maybe just pop a caption on the video: 'Day 1: Parenting & Gardening', 'Day 2: Family Excursion' etc?
