Welcome to one week of outfits from my fall ten-item capsule wardrobe. I like to document what I wear on the channel so you can see how a ten-item wardrobe translates to real life. This week starts off warm in California and heads into chilly rain toward the end of the week so you will see a range of adaptability with my fall wardrobe in today's video.
On this warm Sunday I'm wearing the Everlane Japanese picnic dress, a cropped cardigan (similar), the Kork-Ease wedges and carry my LV tote handbag. My art deco phone case is linked here. On my nails: Londontown shade Honeymoon (code JenniferS gives 25% off first-time orders).
The black cinch-waist tunic dress paired with leggings linking similar here and here, and my leopard sandals makes this a chic and casual Monday. My earrings are Ana Luisa (code Jennifer10 gives $10 off first orders)
On Tuesday I'm wearing the oversize tunic tee (linking similar here) with my Mott & Bow jeans (code JLS10 gives 10% off), leopard sandals, Rachelyn Jewelry earrings, and Ana Luisa necklace (code Jennifer10)
On Wednesday I'm wearing the Target Wild & Fable burgundy floral dress with a tan cardigan and my nude patent sandals. This worked really well for a breezy day at the park.
On this rushed Thursday I'm wearing the floral midi dress (linking similar) with Ana Luisa earrings and nude patent sandals. A velvet scrunchie is in my hair.
I am wearing the Draper James dress with navy ballet flats and Rachelyn Jewelry earrings for Friday's special interview.
For a mom's brunch on a rainy Saturday, I'm wearing the J.Jill charcoal wrap dress with the plaid scarf and riding boots.

Comment of the Week
LaDonna on Facebook writes, "So I read the Madame Chic series and started following you a few months ago. I’ve started implementing a lot of your lessons from Madam Chic. My husband knows that I’ve been on a “French girl kick” but he has no idea about your Madame Chic series. Everyday he has been telling me how nice I look or how beautiful I am and today he said, “You know, I’m just going to have to start calling you Madame Texas Chic.”
I laughed and told him about you and Madame Chic. I thought you would get a kick out of this. I really appreciate all you do to make the world a more genteel place!!!"
LaDonna, I truly enjoyed the recap of your Madame Chic transformation. Please keep us updated. Your husband's response made me smile :)
Thank you for joining me today. I would love to know how your ten-item wardrobe is coming along.

Enjoyed seeing your week of outfits. You looked lovely in all of them! The cooler weather is a blessing.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun seeing the Downton Abbey movie and all of the characters again. Anyone who was a fan of the series would enjoy the movie. Heard that attendance has been great. I wonder if they’ll do another.
Downton Abbey was great! I think you'll really enjoy it. I heard a rumor that there are two more movies to come...!
ReplyDeleteI think the Target dress ensemble was my favourite of all of these. It looks very 'French' for some reason, but they all look great. And I know what you mean re the excitement of getting back into autumn boots and long sleeves after a long summer. Love the cooler seasons!
ReplyDeleteDownton Abbey, two thumbs up...
ReplyDeleteMost enjoyable.
I binge watched the Downton Abbey series this summer & fall after hearing so many raves about the show. All evidently for very good reason. Hubs & I managed a rare date night a couple weeks back to take in the movie. Loved it too! Felt a little strange taking it in at the theater. However, I thoroughly enjoyed how grand everything appeared in such a large screen scale. Does it such justice!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog in this cyberspace. 😉 enjoying your nook & getting to know you.
