Creamed Salmon Over Noodles | Easy Recipe

This recipe is adapted from an old cookbook of mine, Seafood Twice a Week. It's a fast and easy recipe that uses many ingredients you probably already have in your pantry.

You could substitute tuna for the salmon, if you like. You could also double or triple this recipe, if you are feeding a crowd. As written, this recipe serves 4. I hope you enjoy today's video!

Hello Jennifer,
I just wanted to reach out and say thank you so much for writing the Madame Chic Collection. I have fallen in love with your books over the past few years & have recently finished Polish Your Poise with Madame Chic. Your books inspire me to strive for success, be the best version of myself, and exude confidence wherever I go. I am following in your footsteps and traveling to Paris this summer for a study abroad program! You have greatly impacted my life! All the best!

Comment of the Week

Regarding Monday's skincare post, School of the Modern Home writes:
I have a great frankincense story. I use DoTerra frankincense oil as part of my morning and night skin care routine for about 2 years. I was having my eyebrows waxed and the beautician commented that she wasn't sure we was waxing correctly because she couldn't find the scar in my left eyebrow. She uses the scar as an arch guide. She handed me the mirror to assist her and I couldn't find the scar. So, since this was a toddler walking accident that gave me the scar I showed my mother. She couldn't find the scar either. I now have awesome eyebrows.

Wow, that is a great testimony for frankincense oil. I have heard many wonderful things about it. I bet your mother was amazed that the scar was gone. Thank you for sharing!

For those of you who have asked, I purchased my Frankincense oil from my friend, Antoinette, at doTERRA, who has a wealth of knowledge about essential oils. If you have any questions for her, you can contact her via her website here!

I hope you all enjoy today's quick and easy recipe. As a side note, this video is a few months old, and as such was shot with my old camera.

See you on Monday for a le no makeup look post!

  1. Yum! The mozzarella cheese sounds very good with it. Have you ever made salmon patties? I love those for a quick & easy fish meal.

I am halfway through your book, At Home With Madame Chic, and am enjoying it very much. Made your green smoothie today and enjoyed the fresh taste of it. I can't wait to share the book with my daughter and two daughters-in-law. I know they will love it.

  2. I loved seeing the Blue Willow plate. I recently acquired a vintage set of Blue Willow dishes, I enjoy using my different sets of old dishes to make a simple meal more special. Add a pretty place mat and napkin and you have added a little extra touch to an ordinary day. Thank you for your positive and encouraging message.

  4. I don't buy canned salmon; I get filets or salmon steaks from the fish shop and freeze them. They thaw in about a day in the fridge. My super quick and easy salmon recipe is this: I take a pint of grape tomatoes and put them in the bottom of a baking dish, tossing them with a drizzle of olive oil, salt, and pepper. I nestle the salmon amongst the tomatoes, sprinkle with salt and pepper, then I sprinkle a couple teaspoons of curry powder over the lot. I bake it in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes, and serve it over rice. I generally make up a lot of rice ahead of time, some for the fridge for meals I am making that week, and any excess goes in the freezer for future meals. My husband loves this dish, but I find that it is important to get salmon from an actual fish market; supermarket fish just does not taste as good. I think it may be because when you only do one thing, you tend to do it better than someone who tries to be all things to all people.

  5. I just made it and it is delicious! I doubled the recipe and added some parm along with frozen peas, carrots, green beans. Husband and daughter do not like salmon so I used 3 cans of tuna instead of the salmon. =]

  6. I made the Creamed Salmon Over Noodles for dinner this evening and we loved the taste and I loved the simplicity of a great entree. Thank you for this recipe! As mentioned in another comment, I don't like to use canned salmon, so I did an interesting thing and bought the poached salmon from Gelson's deli. It always comes with a mustard sauce, so I rinsed off the sauce in a strainer and it was a freshly-poached piece of boneless salmon ready to go. I used penne noodles since I had them here at home and they worked beautifully. I served it with steamed green beans and drizzled the green beans with Mr. Yoshida's sweet teriyaki sauce (yes! the same one you use on baked salmon) and sesame seeds. I had a raspberry-blueberry-apply crumble for dessert (a variation of Ina Garten's recipe). It was all so delicious.
