Welcome to another episode of Natural Home with Jennifer. In today's video, I'm reviewing one of my favorite natural products ever: The Method wood floor cleaner in almond scent.
If you love the scent of almonds, you will absolutely love this wood floor cleaner.
Method writes,"We used to reserve our floor cleaning for very special occasions—like limbo night or the queen’s visit. But this non-toxic + biodegradable no-wax wood floor cleaner turns a chore into an almond-scented delight. Just squirt, mop and bask in the glow of a gleaming clean. Formulated for sealed hardwood and laminate floors."
To use: Squirt on floor and mop, using a damp or dry mop/cloth. Use a thin layer, enough to wet and clean the floor. Do not dilute. No need to rinse, either.
All of method’s ingredients are comprehensively assessed by a leading research firm to ensure their safety for people and the environment.
I truly love and highly recommend this wood floor cleaner. It's really an excellent product.
You can find the Method wood floor cleaner on Amazon, but I get mine from Grove Collaborative, where I get all of my natural cleaning products. I highly recommend Grove because it is a wonderful company that has great perks for its VIP members, including free shipping and returns as well as frequent free gifts.
New customers to Grove Collaborative can get a free Mrs. Meyers gift Set, which includes a Mrs. Meyer's dish soap, Mrs. Meyer's hand soap, and Mrs. Meyer''s Multi-Surface Spray + Free shipping with VIP Trial when you sign up with Grove and spend $20. Existing members with Grove Collaborative can receive a free walnut scrubber sponge.

Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you on Monday!
In today's vlog, my sister and I go shopping and have dinner together. I've been running low on some basic makeup essentials so we also stop by Sephora and bare Minerals. I hope you join me for today's video.
Here is the makeup I purchased on my shopping trip. I was running very low on foundation, concealer, eyeliner, and mascara.
The lady at bare Minerals suggested that I try the bare pro foundation powder on top of the liquid foundation. I really like this combination together!
This was not purchased in my video, but if you're curious about the eyeshadow palette I used, it was the one by Kate that I purchased in Japan. I'll link it here for those interested.
On The Ten-Item Wardrobe eCourse, Kathryn S. writes, "Dear Jennifer,
Thank you for being a great inspiration to me. As a fairly new wife and less than a year into motherhood, your advice has helped anchor my household in many ways including how to be a good steward of a thoughtful, well put together closet.
All the best"
Thank you, Kathryn! I'm so happy you enjoyed the course!

Regarding Monday's pantry organization video, Erin G. writes, "When you played the horror music I laughed. That was a good one! You have a great size pantry. I can relate to wanting to organize during the summer as well. With two kids and a part time job during the school year, life gets hectic and chaotic! When I organized my pantry I purchased OXO containers which gave my pantry a sleek organized look and they're extremely easy for the family to use. I purchased mine on Amazon, Bed Bath Beyond as well as Home Goods. Hey, I'm always searching for a good deal! You should try the cereal containers OXO makes. I will never use anything other than those!"
Hi Erin, I think my horror music gave a few people a good laugh, including myself! I modeled it off of the old British TV show, How Clean is Your House? :) Thank you for the OXO recommendation. I do still need to buy cereal containers.
I hope you all enjoyed today's vlog-style shop-with-me video. I'll see you tomorrow for a new episode of Natural Home with Jennifer.
I'm so busy throughout the school year, certain organizational projects get postponed. In my case, the much-needed organization project involved our pantry. When we moved into our house last August, it was never properly organized. Then we took our trip to Europe and when we came back 6 weeks later, we jumped back into our homeschool routine and the pantry never got sorted out.
Now that we are taking a summer break from school, I have time to tackle these organizational projects. Today, I bring you along with me. I de-clutter and organize our pantry and, while it's a lot of work, it feels so good to get the job done!
I actually did this video a few weeks ago and I can tell you, it's been wonderful walking into an organized pantry each morning. What a joy! Everyone in the house has noticed too and has taken care to keep it tidy. I hope you enjoy today's video and feel inspired to de-clutter along with me.
Because we live in California and earthquakes are prevalent here, I always have a supply of prepper foods and extra water. You never know when a natural disaster might strike, and it's best to be prepared. I have a combination of dehydrated, long-shelf life foods, including Eden Valley Farms, which has a 25 year shelf life, Emergency ready standard survival kit, and emergency drinking water (pack of 66).
The Mrs. Meyer's lemon verbena multi-surface cleaner and the Aunt Fannie's Ant Remedy are both from Grove Collaborative.
Get a free Mrs. Meyers Cleaning Set, which includes a Mrs. Meyer's dish soap, Mrs. Meyer's hand soap, and Mrs. Meyer''s Multi-Surface Spray + Free shipping with VIP Trial when you sign up with Grove Collaborative for the first time. BettyLou writes, "I use grove collaborative and the customer service is amazing. I don't need to reorder as frequently as many households so I can just delete the products I don't need from my order. The glass spray bottles with the silicone sleeves are an investment but I love them. Each color gets a different refill product. I love the geranium scent and the honeysuckle. I wish they had a vanilla scent to use exclusively in the kitchen. They also have a product that draws away those annoying little gnats that get in the fresh fruit in warm weather. We have very hard water so some of the products don't work for our home, that is when i use a homemade vinegar, castile soap, and essential oil mix to clean with."
Hi BettyLou, I couldn't agree more. The customer service with Grove is excellent. I do the same with my re-ordering. I just delete what doesn't apply to me and order only what I need. This way I never run out. I also order a wide variety of items for the sole purpose of reviewing them on the channel, which is something that most people wouldn't need to do. I'm excited to try the geranium scent. I already love the honeysuckle. Thanks for your comment!
I hope you enjoyed today's video and feel inspired to de-clutter a space in your home. Please let me know what you thought in the comments below and your comment could be chosen as comment of the week on the blog. See you Thursday for a fun "shop with me" video featuring my sister!
Welcome to our new Friday series, Natural Home with Jennifer, where I give you in-depth, honest reviews of natural cleaning products. Today, I'm reviewing Mrs. Meyer's Surface Scrub in Lavender. I tackle a deep stain on my stovetop with dazzling results from this natural scrub.
Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day Surface Scrub works on the grimy surfaces throughout your home. This non-scratching gentle and effective cleaning scrub powder is made with a naturally safe ash and oxygen bleach for use on cleaning cookware, tile, stainless steel, porcelain fixtures, and more. It's chlorine and phosphate free, too.
*Ingredients are at least 98% naturally derived
*Phthalate free
*No animal derived ingredients
To use: wet the surface, sprinkle the powder, and scrub. For the tough stain on my stove, I let the powder sit for several minutes to penetrate the surface.
Please note, you can find the surface scrub on Amazon, but I don't recommend buying it there as the price is way higher than at Grove Collaborative. At the time of writing this, the scrub sells for $9.12 on Amazon, but on Grove Collaborative it is only $4.95. You can see the major price difference. Grove always has the best discounts for these natural products.
I hope you enjoy the review and cleaning session in today's video.
New customers can get a free Mrs. Meyers gift Set, which includes a Mrs. Meyer's dish soap, Mrs. Meyer's hand soap, and Mrs. Meyer''s Multi-Surface Spray + Free shipping with VIP Trial when you sign up with Grove Collaborative and spend $20. BH Lip palette in "nude lips" This is an affordable lip palette that I've enjoyed using for the past year. The colors do not have long staying power, but when I apply them with a brush on dry lips, they tend to stay on longer.
I hope you enjoy the makeup tutorial in today's video.

On Monday's Switching to All-Natural Products Cleaning Products video, A Lovely Life with Luna writes, "I am always happy to see when someone "goes natural"! I am an advocate for green cleaning, as someone diagnosed with asthma many years ago, I probably only have an attack 2-3 times per year, and I do attribute that to healthy cleaning products (in part)
I'm also a nurse that works in hospital setting with majority of patients over the age of 55. I have noticed (amongst many trends) a trend of female patients over the age of 55 to 60 yrs that women have MANY more complications of the lungs, whether that be COPD,emphysema, small nodules and cysts, and atelectasis than my male patients. I'd say the ratio of women to men with pulmonary complications is probably 6-8:1. On a side note I'm also noticing older women with a lot of liver and renal cysts, nodules, and just general anomalies- and these are organs that filter and excrete. Just food for thought."
Hi Luna, the study on the damaging effects of traditional cleaning products was a real eye-opener for me. And your observation on the declining health of older women regarding lung function is truly interesting. Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm excited to switch to more natural cleaning products now to prevent future health problems.
Thank you to everyone for watching today's makeup tutorial. I hope you enjoyed it! I'll see you tomorrow for my first natural product review on Natural Home with Jennifer.
