I like to be efficient and really don't like when I fall behind on projects. Before starting a family I was always able to keep on top of photo albums because, well, it was just my husband and me! But after having children the photos we took tripled (if not quadrupled) and I became too busy to deal with them.
I used to take the pictures, order prints, buy a photo album and then take the time to insert the photos into the album. It became too much for me and I fell behind on it and found myself with boxes of unorganized family photos. Then Chatbooks entered my life.
I saw an ad for Chatbooks and thought it sounded like a good idea and that it would solve my family photo conundrum. I was right! I've been a happy customer with Chatbooks for over three years now.
Here's how it works. You download the Chatbooks app on your smartphone. Then take pictures like you normally would in your everyday life. Hit the "heart" on all of the photos you like and those photos are automatically added to your favorites. Chatbooks generate a new photo album once you have accumulated 60 new favorites. Your album ships to you for free. Albums are affordable and start at just $10.
As you can see I have quite a stack of them!
I love these books because they are documenting our family life and I don't have to think twice about it.
I also order special chatbooks for family members as gifts. It's a great app and I was really thrilled when Chatbooks offered to sponsor today's video and offer you a promotional code.
Use the code daily20 to get 20% off your Chatbooks.
I hope you enjoy flipping through our family photos in today's video.

This is a great idea and so nice that the app keeps track of your favorite photos for you. It’s easy to lose track of our photos when we take SO many digital ones. My sister-in-law does something similar with Shutterfly and makes a yearbook for each of her four kids that they unwrap at Christmas. They were all so excited to show me their photo books and talk me through their adventures!
ReplyDeleteHi Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great app, I will have to investigate if there is anything like that in Australia. Ironically I have been sorting through hundreds of very old black and white photos of late. All those photos belonged to my husbands late grandmother. For some reason they weren’t in albums and I have been sorting them into chronological order and putting them into some albums. Talk about a labour of love. Have a lovely day, Fi
The Chatbooks are a wonderful way to manage photos from our smartphones and preserve our family memories. This will be wonderful for all the photos on my iPhone and thank you for the discount code. I'm hoping that when I take a look at their site, that I will somehow be able to make chatbooks with the older photos I have that were pre-smartphones. That would really take care of a long overdue clutter project.
