I'm sharing one week of (weekday) outfits from my postpartum ten-item wardrobe.
It's a week of homeschooling, field trips, shooting videos, and lots of cooking and cleaning. It's been 7 weeks since I gave birth to our fourth child and this postpartum wardrobe is working so well for me.
On this day I wore the L.L. Bean floral v-neck dress and my Lands End "cabin chic" slippers. It was a nice day to stay home. I'm wearing Londontown Kissed by Rose Gold nail polish. (Use code JenniferS for 25% off your order.)
On this day I wore the Loft lace tee over a nude camisole and my AG Jeans (which barely fit... I need a new pair of jeans!). My earrings are by Ana Luisa Jewelry (Use code Jennifer15 to get $15 off.)
Yes, if it's not broken, don't fix it. I have the L.L. Bean dress in green too. This dress is perfect for nursing! I'm wearing it with the tan cardigan from zulily and my brown riding boots from Aerosoles.
It's all about mixing nursing convenience with style and I'm wearing this deep grey nursing blouse from zulily with the black fold-over skirt and Lauren Conrad sandals. I know, it's supposed to be fall, but it's 90 degrees outside.
I'm wearing my Garnet Hill Burgundy dress paired with this Boden cropped sweater. This outfit is from three years ago (see Instagram post below) but I find it works really well for this postpartum season. (Please note, these items are over three years old, so I am linking to the stores, not the items.)
I shared this exact outfit on Instagram back in 2015!
I hope you enjoy today's video.

Comment of the Week
On last week's Non-Surgical Beauty Hacks video, NKE M writes, "Jennifer, you solved a problem that has been bothering me for years! I have never understood how I always got tiny holes on my tank tops and tees down by my belly button. It had never occurred to me that it was the friction from the jeans tab. Thank you for your lovely channel. I have been a follower of yours since 2012 and love your honesty and inspired living. God bless!"
Thank you so much! I'm happy that I solved the mysterious hole-in-the-shirt issue for you. I wondered the same thing for years and then it dawned on me. I hope the Infinity Belt solves your problem! Thank you for your kind words.
I would love to know what you think of this week's video. How is your fall ten-item wardrobe coming along? Let us know and your comment could be chosen as comment of the week on the blog.

Jennifer,
ReplyDeleteAs always, I love this Week of Outfits video. Thanks for all you do. I purchased one of those L.L.Bean dresses and LOVE them. I have read all your books and loyally watch your inspiring videos.
Hi Jennifer! I love your week of outfits video. You always look presentable and well put together, even with very little sleep. 😉 I hope your older son feels better and that you didn’t get too sick. Thanks again for always making me smile and inspiring me.
ReplyDeleteI am currently in LOVE with J. Crew's jeans - I generally get them either at the outlet or the Mercantile store - so that might be an option for you. Love the Week of Outfits videos!
ReplyDeleteHi Meg, aren't the LL Bean dresses great? Honestly, I think it's the perfect dress!
ReplyDeleteChristine, thank you so much! My son is already feeling better and so am I.
Gigi, thank you for the recommendation. I need a new pair of jeans!
Hi Jennifer, As Meg said, I love your "one week of outfits" videos and I have been a loyal viewer of your inspiring blog and videos. I remember that outfit from 2015 and thought it was clever of you to add a top to a dress to give it another look. Regarding your black skirt, I bought one in black and in navy blue, and I'll be taking them to Thailand for a trip in two weeks. I also live in California and find the skirt so lightweight and easy to wear with tops. Thanks for this brilliant recommendation and all the others, too. Your Aerosole boots are great and I recall a pair of London Sole boots you once wore with a black dress and I was wondering how long you hang on to your shoes and boots. I still have some Naturalizer riding-style boots and since I don't wear them often, they seem to last and don't need updating, especially with a classic style. Ballet flats seem to last, too, although they get more regular rotation. I hope you and your family had fun at the pumpkin patch. Please let us know when you shop for jeans.
