Carey M. writes, "Sorry to miss the live chat, but I am really enjoying the video now. I agree with everything you said! I have a couple of really great pieces of advice about gossip that I have heard over the years. My mom always says, “If they gossip with you, they will gossip about you.” A teacher/mentor I had used to teach that gossip is having a stated opinion about something you don’t have responsibility for. She said, “If you don’t have responsibility for it, don’t have opinion on it.” And lastly, never say anything about someone that you wouldn’t say to their face. All of these have helped me avoid gossip over the years."
