Welcome to one week of outfits from my ten-item capsule wardrobe: quarantine edition!
This week sees (not surprisingly) a lot of time spent at home. I enjoyed wearing my outfits each day and looking presentable... Let's take a look at the outfits. I hope you enjoy today's video.
Saturday: I'm wearing my blue and white dress from Target (linking similar here and here) with a cropped sweater and sandals. It's still chilly outside and the sweater helps to keep me warm, but not too warm. My phone case is by Casetify and my nail polish is Londontown JenniferS for 25% off. Lipstick is A'DEL shade "cherry pop" and my earrings are by SKYE (Odele) Jennifer20 for 20% off, Okabashi sandals
Easter Sunday: I'm wearing white all day as an experiment (check out my video on how it turned out). I am linking a very similar dress here. Two more similar options: here and here and I'm linking all white dresses from Target here. My earrings are by SKYE Jennifer20 for 20% off, and this is my velvet scrunchie
Monday: Oh, how I love jumpsuits. I feel so happy when I wear them. This one is from Lulu's and the sweater is from Amazon essentials. I'm doing a video on jumpsuits on Monday... you won't want to miss it.
Tuesday: This is about as casual as it gets for me, but we all have those days! I'm wearing my Très Chic sweatshirt (my sweatshirt is printed on demand in America), white jeans JLS10 for 10% off, and slippers.
Wednesday: This is an active, yet casual day. I'm wearing my billowy white blouse from Loft with my dark denim jeans (code JLS10 for 10% off) and sandals. My earrings are by Rachelyn Jewelry.
Thursday: I'm wearing my Draper James chambray shift dress with my Hipstik pantyhose (JEN15 for 15% off) because it's a chillier day. Pearl earrings (Jennifer10 for $10 off) round out the look. My makeup is by A'DEL Natural Cosmetics shade Cottage.
Friday: On this chilly day, I'm wearing a big, chunky sweater with my long floral blouse, white jeans JLS10 for 10% off, and sandals. My earrings are Rachelyn Jewelry. My eyeshadow is espresso and my lipstick is barely there, both by A'DEL.

Jennifer, you look beautiful in all of your outfits. You're truly an inspiration to all of your blog followers, especially in these unusual and worrisome circumstances. I can only imagine that your husband and children feel better, and almost normal, seeing that you haven't succumbed to allowing these circumstantial, albeit considerable, alterations to our everyday lives (for the time being) change your standards of dress and behavior. Despite all of the uncertainties, I'm sure that your children feel more secure seeing you move forward in your daily routines despite all. Your sons won't remember this time. Because they're older, your daughters will, and I'm sure they'll always remember how you and their father, Ben, allowed them to feel that eventually you'd all come through this intact; assuredly back to their normal lives once again.
I love your outfits and how they all work together. You have a distinct white/blue scheme going on, with the hint of floral pattern. What a nice collection for this season. Take care of yourself and your family.
Ah, ladies, thank you so much. I appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Jennifer xx
Hi Jennifer,
I recently found your site and YouTube channel. I really like your style and attitude. I've noticed that transitioning is an important aspect of your wardrobe, and, I assume, other aspects of your life. I was wondering, have you ever done a video about transitioning to a more "chic" style of dressing? I ask because I'm not fashion conscious, but do desire to dress better. The problem I have, though, is that I tend to fall back on my "safe" casual clothes of jeans/t-shirts/sweatshirts, etc. because that's what I know and am comfortable with. I like the idea of dressing as you do, but, honestly, it would be like someone who never wears a bathing suit suddenly at the beach wearing a bikini...uncomfortable and awkward, in a sense. I know it would just be a matter of time, dressing this way, until it would feel normal, hence, comfortable, but what about the idea of transitioning to that point so that it's not so difficult, leading one to give up and slip back into what's already comfortable for them? I'm that person. I would love some ideas for transitional outfits that would help take me from casual to dressed up at a more comfortable pace - a mishmash of the two looks, I guess. I don't know if I'm making sense, but I feel like I can't be the only one who doesn't feel like they can comfortably make the leap all in one bound. Ideas?? Thank you for all that you do to help women better themselves.
Thank you for listening,
GreenEyed Susan
Jennifer, I noticed when I see the photos of what you wore in a week all lined up together, each outfit is different, but they all coordinate and look great when displayed together - this is what I'm striving for as I trying to curate a 10 item wardrobe! But it's not as easy as it looks! :) Also, I love the Tres Chic sweatshirt you're wearing, but when I follow the link, the sweatshirt I can order doesn't look like yours in color or cut... do you know if the item I order will look different that what is pictured? Thank you for all you do!
