Loved this vlog! More please! For many years I have kept a beautiful little book in which I write quotes. I turn to it when I need uplifting and will be adding some of those you shared today. I've decided to copy the quotes into a second book so that both of my children have a copy when I go.
Here's one from Maya Angelou: "Nothing will work unless you do." Never a truer word was spoken.

I am reading The Grace of Great Things. Creativity and Innovation by Robert Grudin, published in 1990.
Some inspiring and thought provoking quotes and passages in here that you might enjoy: here are two on two habits conducive to inspiration.
1. Society generally regards leisure as being the opposite of work the antidote for work's debilitating effects. In the creative life, however, no such opposition exists. Creative work is self-expression, self-fulfillment. As such it is a pleasure that ranks with sport and love and laughter and all the other better things in life. In the creative life, leisure is not a contrary of work but rather a complement to it. (12-13)
2. Distaste for work and consequent deadness to inspiration often can be traced to a hatred of problems [...] (13)
