At Home With Madame Chic in Poland

I am so happy to announce that my second book, At Home With Madame Chic, is now available in Poland from my Polish publisher Wydawnictwo Literackie. I have so enjoyed connecting with my Polish readers who loved Lessons from Madame Chic and can't wait to continue the discussion with you for this next book, as we journey into the intricacies of living well at home.

Please check out my special video message to the Polish readers above. And to learn more about Wydawnictwo Literackie be sure to check them out on facebook. If you are unable to see my video above, click here, look in the sidebar of this blog, or check out my channel: www.youtube.com/TheDailyConnoisseur

Here are some of the fun promotional illustrations from the publisher:

The illustrations highlight the importance of delegating work in the home, show the aroma pot recipes mentioned in the book and encourage women to tackle their clutter hot spots.

I thought it fitting to set this week's video to Chopin's Nocturne Opus 9, No. 1 because not only is Chopin my favorite composer of all time, but he is also Poland's most renowned composer.

Thank you to all of my Polish readers for your warm reception! I'll see you all on Monday back on The Daily Connoisseur.

I love what I see of the painting behind you in the video! Is it a print or original? And if you care to share, by whom?

Congratulations on getting the 2nd book published in Poland!! My husband and I just watched "Ida", the Polish Foreign Film that won and Academy Award. It was recommended by one of your readers. We enjoyed it. I thought the cinematography was very unique and beautiful.

Out of my curiosity I’ve read your book months ago.
I’m wondering how translation to Polish went.

Hi Jennifer!
Firstly I love your blog and your books (I have been following you for several years- before the first book) but I believe it is my first time leaving a comment here! I loved Mari Kondo's book. I started being very inspired by minimalism and living a clutter free life about four years ago when I broke my foot and had to spend a lot of time at home. I found the space suffocating (and I did not own much even then) and with a lot of spare time staretd tossing and organising... Leaving with less but only the best is for me a mantra, it does not only free your space but also your head and time (not as much cleaning or just simply thinking about what to wear, what to organise next etc) it leaves space for simply enjoying the life at its fullest. Regards,
Angelina

I just finished reading your book - The home Madame Chic. It's great. It gives us many of good advice on how to live beautifully and accept the routine of the day. From the book've concluded that the life of Americans is somewhat similar to the life of Poles. With us also it is continuous, "purse" for another article of clothing, eat greasy and unhealthy because they are following the examples of your fast-food outlets, a majority of Poles spend their free time shopping in malls. But this is slowly changing. Increasing awareness of people who start keeping fit and try to eat healthy. The problem still continuous shopping and outdoing themselves with other women, which is in the closet more ... and yet not what life is about. I read your two books and waiting for more :)

I wish you much good. Be still an inspiration for many women in the world. I warmly greet the Polish!:)
