Method Ginger + Mango Laundry Detergent & Fabric Softener | Natural Home with Jennifer

In today's Natural Home with Jennifer, I'm reviewing Method's Ginger Mango concentrated laundry detergent and fabric softener.

I really enjoy using this line because it cleans our clothing well, gets stains out nicely, and smells so good. The ginger mango scent is really appealing and subtle. If you do not like scented laundry detergent, you should skip this particular one. If you do like scent, however, this is one of the best scents I've tried.

Method laundry detergent is:

- Naturally derived, concentrated laundry soap.
- Keeps colors bright and whites white.
- Concentrated formula delivers mighty cleaning power for he and standard washers.
- Plant based, biodegradable and hypoallergenic formula fights tough dirt and stains.

I purchased my laundry detergent and fabric softener from Grove Collaborative (which as of posting this blog, has the best price too), but you can also find the laundry detergent on Amazon (in a 4-pack), and fabric softener on Amazon (in a 4-pack). I have also seen this in the store at Target.

For the Amazon links click here and here.

I like to use Grove because of the free shipping, better prices, and frequent full-size gifts that they give their VIPs.

I'm so glad to hear that you love this laundry detergent. I think I'm going to try it. I've been using Tide Free and Clear for years and occasionally make my own. I've switched to almost all natural products for cleaning, personal care and make-up over the last decade, but this has been my one hold out.:)

I love the new look of your blog. It's beautiful!

Also, I ordered products (and Christmas gifts) from Bend Soap and I love the milk bath and soaps! Thanks for that review!

Hi Jennifer! I ordered the Mrs. Myers laundry detergent from Grove after your review but I haven’t tried it yet because I am trying to finish my old detergent first. I have definitely found that Mrs. Myers works just as well as Tide. It is SO nice when we can enjoy the little luxuries in life like beautiful scents from our clean clothes. We have to do the laundry anyway, so we may as well make it as enjoyable as possible.
Also I forgot to tell you thank you for the perfume post. I am going to try one of their samplers. I have been using Champs Elysees, by Guerlain, for years and years. I fell in love with it when I was in Paris in my early twenties. Nothing beats a French perfume. (Or skin care product!) Thanks so much Jennifer! I always look forward to your videos.

One more thing, do you still wear Blackberry and Bay by Jo Malone? I bought that perfume years ago after you shared how much you loved it. It is still one of my favorites!

Hi ladies, thank you for commenting! The blog isn't quite finished yet, but we are doing a re-design and it will be ready soon. Thank you for your patience!

Karen- That's wonderful! I am going to get Bend soap as Christmas gifts this year too. And I'll probably get a few things for myself too :)

Christine- You will love the Mrs. Meyers. I still love Blackberry and Bay. I hadn't been wearing any scent due to the pregnancy, but I really do love Dovana. I'm excited to Sylvaine Delacourte's vanilla line too. Thank you for your kind comments!

Hello Jennifer,
Just finished my 2nd Madame Chic book & ordered your polish your poise. I am a big you tube fan and have learned so many things. I have joined Grove, many of the products I've wanted to try are in my budget now. Thank you. I agree with you on so many levels. I use my good dishes everyday. Yes, even linen napkins. Each morning I prepare my breakfast tray complete with small China coffee pot, cup and saucer. I just love the sound a China cup and saucer make. I take my tray to the nicest spot that day. In front of fireplace in the winter, on our deck in the summer, or any sunny spot in our home. This is how I begin each day, & I don't know why more people domt indulge in some personal pampering. Even when my children were young I'd end my day with a pretty tea tray on my nightstand.
Please ladies we all have time to be chic.

What a beautifully-updated blog for The Daily Connoisseur, Jennifer. I love it. As for your review today, it's so funny as I have a note on my to-do list to place a Grove Collaborative order, because it's been a while. I had planned to buy Mrs. Meyer's Honeysuckle laundry detergent after your stellar review, and thank you for touch on its performance here as being about equal to the Method Ginger + Mango Laundry detergent. Now, I'm torn between both! Yikes. Oh, well, I'll just pick one and know that either one will be fine. Your laundry room, with the pretty flower arrangement, looks so pretty and peaceful, like your newly-designed blog. So happy you share these wonderful discoveries to make life a good one.
