Welcome to a new 3 Articles on Dress. We are exploring the Cottagecore fashion aesthetic, Princess Beatrice's wedding dress on loan from the Queen, and Vogue's suggestion that all we really need is a day dress.
⚜️ The first article discusses the Cottagecore fashion aesthetic that is becoming increasingly popular on social media. When I released my Grandmillennial video, many people suggested that the Granmillennial style is a derivative of Cottagecore. So let's explore this aesthetic in today's video.
Here are three Instagram accounts to explore that represent Cottagecore fashion beautifully.
I would love to know what you think about the Cottagecore style. Do you relate to this aesthetic?
⚜️ The next article comes from Town & Country Magazine and explores Princess Beatrice's wedding dress on loan from the Queen.
Princess Beatrice married her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in Windsor wearing a slightly altered dress on loan from Queen Elizabeth. The dress was designed by Norman Hartnell and was made from Peau De Soie taffeta and organza, trimmed with Duchess satin, and encrusted with diamanté. I love that Princess Beatrice went vintage with her dress and thought she looked like a beautiful Princess bride. What did you think of the dress?
⚜️ And finally, with the changes in our social lives that are taking place throughout the worldwide pandemic, Vogue recommends that all you truly need is a great day dress.
I have enjoyed this way of dressing for some time. A good day dress can be dressed up to work beautifully for fancier events and dressed down for everyday wear. The struggle, I believe, lies in whether the wearer feels too "fancy" wearing the dress on a regular basis. The Daily Connoisseur community here is used to dressing well each day. You can find support from our community and think of us and smile when someone asks you, "Why are you so dressed up? Where are you going?" :)
I hope you enjoy the articles discussed in today's video. I would love to know your thoughts on the articles featured.

I think you would enjoy a magazine I just discovered called Daughters of Promise. It is so beautiful, full of peaceful photography, art, poetry, homemaking. Written by a Mennonite community with fashion that are very cottagecore.
I have been cottagecore for at least 15 years. Of course it was not identified as such. Not something women wanted to aspire too. Always hopeful that it might become a more beautiful and feminine way of living for more than just a few of us!
Hello Jennifer,
I loved all three articles and the clothing described in them. I especially appreciated the Vogue article since it led me to the Farm Rio site where I found a beautiful dress I plan to wear to my nephew's wedding. Thanks!
