A'DEL Natural Cosmetics | Natural Home with Jennifer | Swatches + Le No Makeup Look Tutorial

On today's Natural Home with Jennifer I have a lovely natural cosmetics line to introduce to you: A'DEL Natural Cosmetics. I found them on Instagram and reached out to Arlene, the owner, to see if they would like to be featured on Natural Home with Jennifer.

I love discovering these beautifully crafted artisanal products. A'del Natural Cosmetics is a lovely small business that deserves attention. Arlene has been so generous to give us 20% off with the code TDC20 (this excludes the sale of sample sizes).

Here are swatches of the lipsticks, which are beautiful, neutral shades. Ingredients: Certified Organic Castor Oil, Certified Organic Jojoba Oil, Certified Organic Beeswax, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Certified Organic Carnauba Wax, Certified Organic Shea Butter, Vitamin E Oil (non-GMO from sunflower), Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxides

Comment of the Week
Regarding the kitchen renovation, Karen writes, "Love, love it!! It really is amazing what newly painted cabinet doors can do. Would you be willing to share the source for your door pulls/knobs? That's something that we would like to update in our kitchen. I'm never sure what's "in" and what's "out" with colors for hardware like that. :)"

Hi Karen, the brass knobs and pulls are Bremen 1 from Hardware Resources. Thank you!

I hope you enjoyed today's Natural Home with Jennifer. I'll see you on Monday for an all new video! Have a lovely weekend.

Hi Jennifer,
Since I don't wear makeup, I pretty much skipped this video. However, I did check out A'DEL Natural Cosmetics to look at their skin care line. They have some really intriguing stuff! So I've ordered their Rose Mask (powder), the rose mist, and a BAR lotion.

I really don't do much to care for my skin from the outside (I do try to take care of it from the inside - avoiding toxins and especially hydrogenated oils which has made a HUGE, HUGE difference!!) I have always been resistant to commercial products, so most of my life I've done nothing but water on a washcloth. Now that the market is full of more natural skin care products, I have tried a few, but mainly I've been overwhelmed with the choices... or the few I've tried have either seemed ineffective (especially for the price) or I was allergic. Anyhow, I'm excited to try A'DEL!. This will be the first mask I've ever tried.

Thank you for highlighting this company, I hope I'm as pleased with the skin care as you are with the makeup. Hopefully you will include their products in you coming natural skincare video. As an idea, if you know a lady in her 50's who could try their skin care, you could talk about her results in the video. Maybe a friend or relative?

Those colors are really lovey and look so natural. I just had to comment because these products reminded me so much of Garden Glow Skin Care which is another small company that uses only high quality ingredients. There's so many of these little gems we would never know about! I really appreciate you being the guinea pig for your audience. : ) These videos are very helpful and fun to watch. You've introduced me to a lot of great products!!

About Shakespeare's sonnets, I don't have to read them - I have done that many times in undergrad and grad school. I know my favorite easily, 130. That is a description of real love. It's funny but so true. I love his sonnets and how they are structured (similar to some Psalms) and his use of language is really without compare. Genius! I listened to Bolero while doing some house work and I almost naturally marched to the beat. : ) Working on the water and dining out doors soon. I love these assignments! They are fun and bring joy. I'm so glad you started them.

I'm afraid this is the first video of yours I couldn't watch to the end because I found that unnatural nail colour so distracting for a 'natural' home with Jennifer. This is really not normal for me because I'm quite a completist (ie once I decide to watch/read something, I'll watch/read to the end), but figured I should pass along this constructive criticism, since one brand you promote has inadvertently put me off watching another brand promotion entirely, sadly! I just find that colour so jarring and not chic and I couldn't handle the close-ups of it at all. Your kitchen renovation and the outfits of the week videos this week were both breathtakingly lovely, though.

Deborah- that's great! Come back and let us know how you like the skincare! I like featuring small companies like this who otherwise don't get attention.

Nancy- thanks for letting me know about Garden Glow Skin Care. They sound great. I'll look into them too! Thank you for your Chic Assignment updates! I love marching to the beat of Bolero too :)

Kgirl- I'm writing this to you in love, but you have left a few other negative comments on the blog. I understand that you don't like the nail polish and I have registered your complaint :) During the week I was wearing this color, I shot a handful of videos and you will see them on the blog. You do not need to comment every time I upload a video to reiterate your opinion on the polish. May I suggest that you focus on the good and the beautiful and comment on what you do like, rather than fixate on the negative. I do appreciate your presence here on the channel nevertheless.

Have a wonderful day, everyone!

Jennifer xx

I have been trying to use natural makeup and was in need of a primer and foundation. So excited that I was able to order samples to find my perfect shade. Thank you so much for your tutorial.

Just watched this video and will go check out A'Del online! I've always used loose powder mineral eyeshadows - they're kind to my fussy, sensitive eyes, and so easy to mix colors if I choose. I'm happy to see the "Cozy Grey" shade. The company I usually buy from doesn't have a grey in loose powder or pressed :( My hair is now almost completely silver/white, and I'm transitioning my makeup colors to work with it. My stand-by soft browns and even some taupes just don't look good on me anymore. Thank you for this video on A'Del!
